The engineering company NUCON has completed a unique study on the trilateral regulatory and technical mapping of the Chinese small modular reactor project ACP100 (Linglong One).
This development is aimed at protecting the technological and economic interests of the Republic of Serbia during the ongoing analysis of the offer from the PRC to construct a nuclear power plant.
NUCON specialists were the first to unveil the "black box" of closed industrial codes from China, translating them into a transparent hierarchical matrix that is maximally compatible with European safety standards (WENRA, EUR) and European construction legislation (Eurocodes).
The developed methodology is vendor-agnostic and enables the state to act as a firm sovereign client in negotiations rather than a passive consumer of imported technologies.
NUCON's engineering guide eliminates the risk of project paralysis at the discussion stage of proposals and subsequent state expertise, ensuring Serbia full control over the rules of the game at the negotiating table.
